Via-Mar Restaurant

Recently went back to one of my favorite places to get seafood. Via Mar. I come here for the price. In supermarkets, many of the seafood prices can get costly. Take for instance salmon, on average they range from $5-$12. Here in Via-Mar for $6.95 it comes with salmon, rice, beans, and steamed veges. A great buy for a dish that is prepared in less than 10 minutes.
New dishes we tried at the place. See images below.

Quezadilla de Mariscos $7.95
We tried something new at the restaurant, the Quezadilla de Mariscos. A good size portion filled with shrimps, fish, crab meat, and cheese. Once you bite into the warm tortilla, you can instantly taste the cheese flavor.

Another angle shot of the Quezadilla.
Tostadas Pescado $1.95
Ceviche Mexican is prepared with lemon juice marinated seafood and fresh chopped tomatoes, onions, and cilantro prepared with house specialty seasonings.
Camarones ala Diabla $8.95
Spice level 4 out of 5
A typical Mexican dish, this certainly is not for the weak eater of spices. They don't call it the Diabla for nothing. Mixed with Japanese chile, this hot and spicy shrimp sauce is one that will make your mouth sizzle with heat. I'm a fan of spicy foods, but this one is ranked up there for the iron stomachs. I managed to only pick out the shrimps and leave the hot sauce to be mixed with my dripping sweat from my forehead. This experience is only good for one time and one time only.
